pleurisy - dazed & deranged

dazed & deranged the cover for this album was made by chad michael ward and has, as far as i know, no direct relation to the title of this album

for the rest of the design the choice was made to use zoomed elements of the cover art. the booklet pages all have a dia positive element with a member picture mixed into it.

in the 'dazed & deranged' booklet, parts of the lyrics fall of the page while other parts are made unreadable with a motion blur (emphasizing the 'dazed' element of the title). apart from that the song titles are mixed into the background image, making the textual elements of this booklet more a design element than a functional element.

both the cd print and the tray-card are regular zoom parts of the cover art.

only having the chad michel ward's art to 'play' with, room for creativity was limited.
nevertheless the 'dazed and deraged' design is varied but solid.
